Any tips on how to reupholster a Poul Volther Corona chair?

Can't figure out how to cover sections with a nice seam (and then get upholstery fabric over wood & foam base) without showing staples or hand sewing, as I am using vinyl.

I think the only way to do this is with upholstery curve ease or pli-grip. Copy and paste this in your search bar
