Can one Repair the Springs in a Sofa from the Bottom without Disturbing the Upholstery

The sofa was very recently reupholstered. The springs do not hold any more. They need to be changed, retied or ????? It is an old sofa with no fabric hanging down on the front and sides. The seat is 3 free cushions. How to fix the springs?

Hi

If you sofa was recently reupholster by a professional I would have him fix the springs.

Unfortunately their are upholsterers out the who cut corners and do no do retie the springs and just cover over the old fabric.

Depending on the springs you have you should be able to take off the bottom cover and repair them from underneath without disturbing the upholstery.

Thanks Steve.
