To old office chairs

Well I'm just starting out and want to reupholster these 2 office chairs I have. They are in vinyl now there are no side arms on them. I think they are from the 70's. I paid two dollars for them and want to match my office in something in a bright pink and cloth fabric.

If I get a chance to go back to school I keep thinking about upholstery ...I will check on line to try to see if it is something I will like..

These are very sturdy chairs and are simple enough to reupholster. If you are looking for a good beginner upholstery DVD I would suggest you get UNDERCOVER BY DESIGN. You can find the beginner and advanced copies on Ebay at listing 360222169395.
I have viewed the both of these and the instructions are very clear. Other DVDs that I have view tend to have poor lighting and just seem to ramble on.
