What do you cover the bottom of dining chair seats?

by Sheila
(Canada)

I am upholstering dining room chairs, where the seat comes out of the wood chair. I want to recover the bottom of these chair seats as well. What do you suggest for a new cover?

Hi Sheila

I normally used what is called Cambric. It called many names but the most common would be a dust cover.
It is mainly used on larger upholstered furniture to keep all the dust from the chair going onto the the floor. hence it,s name dust cover.

Can be purchased at any upholstery or fabric shop.
